What we do for care providers

Local search and Google Business Profile

Most families begin with a local search. Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing they see. We optimise and actively manage your profile so it surfaces correctly for the searches that matter, with accurate service areas, categories, and a review presence that builds confidence before anyone calls.

Website search engine optimisation

We build and improve the pages that capture families searching for specific types of care: dementia care, live-in care, companionship support, post-operative care. Generic "care agency" pages do not rank well and do not convert. Service-specific, location-specific pages do both.

Google Ads for care services

For providers who want to generate enquiries faster, paid search can place you in front of families actively comparing options today. We manage campaigns around your service types, your geography, and your ideal client. Spend is tracked to enquiries, not impressions.

Review generation and management

Care is one of the highest-trust purchasing decisions a family will ever make. A thin review profile, however undeserved, costs you enquiries. We build a consistent, sustainable process for gathering reviews from families and clients, with guidance that respects the sensitivity of the care context.

Care-specific content and service pages

We write service pages, condition pages, and location pages that answer the questions families are actually searching. Content that reads as if it was written by someone who understands the sector, not a generic copywriter who has swapped in the word "care".

We only report on enquiries

You will not receive a report showing organic impressions or click-through rates on a blog post. You will see how many people called, emailed, or completed a form as a result of the work. That is what a care business can actually use.

We understand what families are searching for

A family searching for "24-hour care at home" is at a different point in the decision process than one searching for "what is live-in care". We build your search presence around the searches that generate enquiries, not the ones that generate curious readers.

No long-term contracts

Month to month, with a month's notice to stop. We are not interested in retaining clients on a contract when the work has stopped generating results. If the enquiries are there, you will want to continue. If they are not, you should not have to.

Why digital search matters more now than it did five years ago

The care market has changed. Families no longer rely solely on a GP referral, a local authority social worker recommendation, or a word-of-mouth suggestion from a neighbour. They research.

They type searches into Google at night, after difficult conversations with parents who are no longer coping alone. They compare profiles on care directories. They read reviews from other families who have been through the same process. They look at your website, your Google rating, and your CQC report before they ever pick up the phone. And if they cannot find enough to give them confidence, they move on to the next result.

For care providers who built their reputation through delivery and word of mouth, this shift is uncomfortable. The families who are searching do not know you yet. They cannot rely on a neighbour's recommendation. They are relying on what they can find online, often late at night, often under significant emotional strain.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with home care providers, residential care homes, or both?

Both, though the approach is different. Home care and live-in care generate search enquiries through local service area searches, Google Maps, and condition or care-type pages. Residential care homes have a slightly different buyer journey, with more weight placed on location, amenity, and CQC rating in search decisions. We adapt the strategy to fit the model.

Our CQC rating is Good. Can we use that in marketing?

Yes, and you should. CQC ratings are public information and families actively look for them. Referencing your rating on your website, your Google Business Profile, and in ad copy is both permitted and effective. We make sure it is as visible as it should be, because most providers bury it or do not reference it at all.

Will marketing bring in the wrong types of enquiries? We are not looking for local authority block contract work.

We can target the work towards self-funders, direct payment clients, and private-paying families specifically. The service types you target, the search terms we build around, and the content we create can all be calibrated towards the client type you want to attract. We are not trying to generate volume. We are trying to generate the right enquiries.

We are already on homecare.co.uk and carehome.co.uk. Is that not enough?

Those directories are useful, but they are a third-party presence, not your own. They generate enquiries for their platform, not direct relationships with your business. Families searching on Google often go directly to individual provider websites, Google profiles, and Maps results rather than through a directory. A directory listing and strong independent search presence work together, but they are not interchangeable.

How sensitive is the content? We do not want anything written that sounds inappropriate for the care sector.

The copy we produce is reviewed by you before anything is published. We are not going to write hard-sell advertising copy for care. The content is written to be informative, reassuring, and honest, in the way that a family making a difficult decision actually needs it to be. You have final sign-off on everything.

We have very few Google reviews despite years of positive feedback from families. What should we do?

This is one of the most common issues care providers have, and one of the most fixable. Families are genuinely grateful for good care and will often leave a review if asked in the right way and at the right moment. We build a structured process for this that works within the care relationship. A provider with a 4.8 rating from forty reviews is significantly more visible and credible to searching families than one with a 5.0 from three.

How long does it take to see new enquiries?

Google Ads can generate enquiries within the first two to three weeks. Organic rankings and Maps visibility typically take two to four months to show meaningful movement, depending on how competitive your area is and how thin your current online presence is. We are honest about timelines from the start.

We are a small independent provider. Can we compete with larger franchise operations?

Yes, and more effectively than most independent providers realise. National franchise operators have national brand recognition but do not automatically dominate local search. A well-optimised Google Business Profile with genuine reviews, accurate service area data, and location-specific service pages consistently outranks larger competitors at the local level. Independent providers compete best through local specificity, not through scale.

Do you understand the terminology and sensitivity around care, dementia, and end-of-life services?

Yes. We write care content regularly. We do not produce copy that treats dementia care or palliative support as a sales category. The content we produce is written with the understanding that the person reading it is often in a difficult personal situation, and it is approached accordingly.

Is there a minimum spend or minimum contract?

No minimum contract. Month to month, with a standard month's notice to stop. There is a minimum monthly fee for retained work, which we agree upfront based on the scope. We will not pitch a retainer that is larger than the enquiry volume can justify.

What happens if we already have a website we are happy with?

We work with your existing site wherever possible. If it has structural issues that are preventing search performance, we will flag them clearly and explain what they mean in practical terms. We do not push for a full website rebuild unless it is genuinely necessary, and we will tell you honestly if it is not.

We care about our reputation deeply. We are worried about the wrong kind of digital marketing damaging that.

That concern is legitimate and we share it. We do not run marketing that overpromises, uses manipulative urgency tactics, or positions care as a commodity. The marketing we produce is designed to represent your service accurately and build trust with the families who are the right fit for what you offer. We are not looking to generate volume. We are looking to generate the right enquiries from the right families.
