What we do for law firms
Google Ads for solicitors
Legal search is one of the most competitive paid-search markets in the UK. Claims management companies, consolidators, and national firms with dedicated marketing teams are spending serious money on the same keywords. We build campaigns that work for smaller firms by going tighter: specific practice areas, specific locations, and negative keyword lists that cut out legally aided, out-of-area, and unqualified search traffic. Every click costs money. We make sure the ones you pay for have a real chance of becoming an instruction.
Local SEO
For most high-street firms, the bulk of the best clients come from within a 10 to 15 mile radius. We build rankings for the location-specific search terms your ideal clients are using, whether that is "employment solicitor in [town]", "conveyancing solicitor [area]", or "family law firm near me". Practice area pages, location-specific content, and technical SEO that gives your site a fair chance against firms with larger profiles.
Google Business Profile management
Your GBP listing is often the first thing a prospective client sees before they click anything. We optimise every element, from the services listed to the categories selected to the review summary visible in the panel. A well-maintained profile with a solid review count will consistently outperform a bare listing from a firm spending more on ads.
Review generation
Client reviews are one of the most powerful trust signals a law firm can have, and most firms collect them only when a client happens to remember. We put a structured process in place that makes it straightforward for satisfied clients to leave a review after their matter closes, so your profile builds consistently over time. All handled in a way that is compatible with SRA obligations.
Website development
A site that loads in under two seconds, works properly on a mobile, presents your practice areas clearly, and makes it easy to book a consultation or pick up the phone. No stock photo of a gavel. No filler text about "trusted advisors". A professional online presence that reflects the quality of the firm behind it.

Why digital marketing is harder to ignore for law firms right now
The legal market in England and Wales has changed substantially over the past decade. Alternative business structures, online conveyancing firms, and national call centres have taken significant market share from high-street practices in areas like conveyancing, personal injury, and wills and probate. The firms that have held their ground, and in some cases grown, tend to have two things in common: a clear specialism, and a visible presence in their local market online.
The referral model that sustained many practices for thirty years is not as reliable as it was. Accountants, estate agents, and IFAs who used to refer consistently now have their own compliance pressures, their own affiliate arrangements, or simply less capacity to pass work on informally. The clients who once came through word of mouth are now searching Google when they have a legal need, comparing three or four firms in the same search session, and making a decision based on what they can see quickly: the Google Business Profile, the review count, the clarity of the website, and whether the firm obviously handles the type of matter they have.
Being visible is no longer a nice addition to a referral-driven practice. For most firms below the top tier, it is the difference between a full fee earner diary and a quiet one.
The challenge is that legal search is genuinely competitive and the firms spending the most are not always the best ones. A national conveyancing factory will outspend a quality high-street practice on Google Ads every time. But they cannot outrank you on "conveyancing solicitor in [your town]" if you have built that local presence properly. They cannot collect genuine five-star reviews from local clients who were looked after properly by a fee earner they actually spoke to. And they cannot compete with a firm that has made it genuinely easy to find, contact, and instruct them.
That is the space we work in: helping good firms become visible to the people who would be better served by them.

Frequently asked questions
It can be, if you try to compete on the same broad terms the nationals target. "Personal injury solicitor" and "divorce lawyer" are expensive. "Family law solicitor in Guildford" or "employment tribunal advice in Winchester" are much more manageable, and the people searching those terms are already in your area and looking for a local firm. Tighter targeting, proper negative keyword lists, and a well-optimised GBP listing mean your budget works harder in a realistic space.
Volume is one question. Quality and consistency are different ones. If a portion of your enquiries are the wrong practice area, out of your catchment, or are never going to instruct anyone, that is still costing you time. Good marketing filters enquiries before they reach your fee earners and builds a pipeline that does not depend entirely on referrals that may or may not materialise.
Yes, and most firms need that. Conveyancing, employment, family, and wills and probate all have different search intent, different buyer behaviour, and different competitive environments. We build practice area-specific content and campaigns rather than treating the firm as a single entity with a single audience.
Solicitors are subject to SRA transparency rules and cannot offer incentives for reviews or selectively show only positive ones. Our review process does not involve incentivisation. We simply make it easy and timely for clients whose matters have concluded well to leave an honest review if they are willing to. The vast majority of firms are not breaking any rules by doing this properly. They just are not doing it at all.
Our marketing is generally aimed at generating private-fee enquiries, since legal aid panels have fixed income and the enquiry volume question looks quite different. If you have a mixed practice, we can target your private-fee work whilst structuring campaigns to screen out legally aided enquiries where relevant.
No. We work with one firm per practice area per location. We will tell you upfront if we already have a client in your area whose work overlaps with yours.
Google Ads can generate enquiries within the first two weeks of a campaign going live, provided the account is set up correctly and the landing page is in good shape. Organic SEO typically takes three to six months to show meaningful movement, and building a strong review profile is a process of months rather than weeks. Most firms see a measurable shift in enquiry quality and volume within the first three months.
You receive a monthly summary covering enquiry volume from each channel, cost per enquiry for paid campaigns, and the main changes we have made that month. No jargon, no vanity statistics. If something has not worked, we will say so and tell you what we are doing about it.
Not necessarily. We carry out a review of your existing site as part of onboarding and tell you honestly whether it is fit for purpose. Some firms need a full rebuild. Others need the existing site restructured, with better practice area pages and clearer calls to action. We will only recommend a new site if there is a genuine reason for it.
No long-term contract. We work on a monthly rolling basis. You are not locked in for six or twelve months. We keep clients because the marketing works, not because the paperwork makes leaving difficult.
